This privacy policy discloses our / Bitgenie's / Shownut's privacy practices. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by Shownut. It will inform you of the following:

1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Shownut exists largely to empower you to connect with others you wish to help or others you wish to get help from. To facilitate this -- and to do it in a way that is dependable, fast, and easy -- we collect basic information such as any or a combination of your name, your phone number, your email address, your country/geography, and your desired password. One or more of these collected pieces of information allows us verify your identity when you attempt to gain entry into or/and onto the Shownut platform or app.

Bitgenie Inc, alone, is solely privy to the information you provide to and on Shownut. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us while you sign up for any of our services. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to continually grant you access to the service, and to communicate with you. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, if such scenario arises. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email or telephone in the future to provide you with information or updates you requested or that specifically affects your use of the product.

At this time, we do not have access to the information you disclose when or while you are in-session on Shownut.

Our Access to and Control Over Information

You do not have to provide any or all information we request. You agree that doing so will come with its own benefits or consequences, such as the complete or incomplete access to Shownut, the full or partial access to parts of the app, and the like.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. We try our best to protect your information online and offline. We start by making sure that you, and only you alone, can gain access to your Shownut account. Wherever we collect sensitive information -- such as credit card data, which we, however, do not do currently -- that information is or will be encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. Only authorised Bitgenie personnel or staff members who need your information (such as your name, preferred role, etcetera) to perform a specific job (for example, addressing to possible technical problems associated with your account) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Genie Verifications, Approvals, and Surveys

Genies (people who, for a specific session, teach things to others) are currently never allowed on the Shownut platform until their skills and competence level are assessed and ascertained by us. We try to get this verification process done expeditiously and we will let you know very quickly of your admissibility onto the platform as a genie. You agree that we reserve the right to contact you if you indicate that you wish to be a genie for a / any particular bit or knowhow no matter how small. You agree that we have the right to verify that you are fit to disseminate the information you desire to disseminate. You agree that we have the right to prevent you from being a genie if we deem it right. You agree that if you are a genie and we have cause for or reason to rescind that privilege, we shall.

From time-to-time, we may present prompts -- in the Shownut app, or via email -- that survey your thoughts on something relating to how we can improve what we are doing in order to make you even more pleased with our service. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information.

Full Understanding

By using Shownut app or any of Bitgenie Inc's products, you agree that you are in full acknowledgement of the aforementioned and the entirety of this Privacy Policy. We will uphold our end of this agreement in order to make you very satisfied. You agree that you will uphold yours.

Updates

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page. If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately via genie@bitgenie.com.
